BASF Wastewater Pump Bases

Corrosive wastewater had badly corroded the steel pump bases of four large wastewater pumps. Not wanting to close down operations and install new bases, BASF Corporation hired Mobile Enterprises, Inc. to install a protective coating.

Mobile crews abrasive blasted the steel bases to white metal, installed Ceilcote P-380 primer and coated the bases with two (2), twenty (20) mil coats of Ceilcote Flakeline 322, a vinyl-ester coating. All work was performed with all equipment in operation and no shutdown.
